Want to donate a Pokemon you just don't have space or time for anymore? Maybe you're looking for a new friend for your home, or an unexpected ally to add to your team?

Adoption costs 1000 or 100
You may only adopt one Pokemon per month. There is a one-month cooldown period between adoptions! If you adopted a Pokemon in the previous month, you will not be eligible to adopt this month, and any Pokemon previously adopted must be referenced before adopting a new one! (Pokemon who have been at the Adoption Center longer than three months do not require a cooldown month, but you may still only adopt one Pokemon per month!)
If you are dropping off Pokemon, please follow the new format to do so. (NOTE: Exchange Center PD will only be given for Pokemon who follow this new format!)
Dropoffs at the Adoption Center are limited to two per month, per member!
No more than two Pokemon of the same species and trait will be available for adoption at a time!
You must have space for the Pokemon in your inventory in order to adopt them.
For all point payments, please donate to ProfessorBonsai! (Please don't donate until after the raffle is complete, or you will need to wait for a refund!)
Adopted Pokemon will be locked to your character's account! (You may not trade them to other players, but may return them to the Adoption Centre, and will be refunded your 1,000 PD adoption fee instead of receiving the standard Exchange Center rate.)
The Adoption Centre no longer operates on a first-come/first-serve basis! Links to the adoptable Pokemon's profile will be listed under their species name.

Gender: (Some Pokemon will have the option for an adoptive trainer to choose these!)

About Me: (A little information about the Pokemon, written by adoption centre staff! This could include their personalities, history, and other things an adoptive trainer would need to know!)

Literature replies must be at least 200 words in length of the trainer and pokemon interacting in a positive way! (Replies without this information will not be considered!)

Please make sure to submit your prompt via DeviantArt. This can be within the sta.sh file or a general art/literature submission

Adoptable Pokemon will be raffled from the list of trainers who have commented on their profiles on the Last Day of the month!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: May I apply to adopt multiple Pokemon in the same month?
A: We appreciate your enthusiasm! You may choose to fill out an application for up to three Pokemon at the same time, but keep in mind you'll only be able to take one of them per month, so if you win multiple raffles, or are the only person to comment on multiple Pokemon, you'll have to choose one and wait the standard cooldown period to be eligible for the others!

Q: May I donate Pokemon who I've "caught", but have not drawn capture art for?
A: Unfortunately, the Pokemon need to be in your inventory in order to donate them! (You may still offer to trade Pokemon you don't have interest in to other members, though; often members will offer capture art and replacement Pokeballs as payment! Try advertising in the Exchange Center, or the #interest-check and #market channels in the group's Discord!)

Q: I didn't save my adoption comment! Oh no! Where can I find it?
A: Not to fear! All adopted Pokemon's .stash files are kept here, with the folder updated as often as the adoptions mod can get to it!

Q: May I claim levels for art or literature I do as part of the adoption prompt, if I take home that Pokemon?
A: Yes! As long as it meets the Submission Guidelines for art or literature, you may use your adoption prompt to claim as many levels as appropriate for your new Pokemon.
